YOU CAN MAKE A CHANGE

IN THE World

OF ONE CHILDTODAY

BENEFITS FOR AT RISK YOUTH

Young people who have experienced discrimination, family stressors, and abuse are less likely to break the law or engage in substance abuse if they have a positive mentoring relationship. Mentors provided the relational support to help youth belief in their abilities and overcome difficult life challenges. We all know what is meant by an at-risk child – it is a young person who needs help and guidance.
