Serving as role models, our mentors teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, of staying in school, and for having respect for family, peers and community.

Become A Mentor

Mentoring has  been linked in studies to social-emotional development benefits, improvements in youth perceptions of parental relationships, and better prospects for moving on to higher education.  Youth that have mentors have better academic performance, school attendance, a positive attitude and a decrease in alcohol and drug use

So if you wish to get involved in helping at-risk young people, becoming a mentor is a brilliant way to help the kids and make yourself feel good helping others.

Mentoring is mighty important and good mentoring is worth its weight in gold.

Support

Lots! Here are just a few of the many benefits that you can get from mentoring:

  • Develop a long lasting friendship

  • Get a sense of personal fulfillment from helping an at risk youth

  • Contribute positively to a youth’s development and self-esteem

  • Build up your self-confidence and self-esteem

  • Feel more involved in the community

You can also learn more about the process of becoming a volunteer or support our various programs through a financial gift.

Whether it’s in the form of time or money there is no more important investment we as individuals can make than in helping youth realize – and share – their full potential.
